The NS200 has always punched above its segment — the naked streetfighter styling backs up an engine with real bite. A restrictive stock paper filter is one of the few things standing between that engine and its full character.

The BMC FM828/20 swaps it for layered cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil, protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh — a combination that flows more air than compressed paper while still filtering down to 7 microns, finer than the stock element's roughly 10. The result is an engine breathing more freely without breathing dirtier.

It's built using BMC's single-mould process, so there's no welded seam anywhere to crack with age, and the rubber surround seats tightly into the stock NS200 airbox for a proper airtight fit. It's a direct swap for the paper filter — no cutting, no tuning changes.

Clean it, don't replace it. The FM828/20 comes pre-oiled and ready to install. When it's due a service, wash and re-oil it with a BMC regeneration kit and it's back to full performance — one filter doing the job of many paper ones over the life of the bike.
