KTM RC 390/200

Stock exhausts on the RC platform are heavy and choked for emissions — great for showroom decibel limits, not so great for the throttle response you bought a single-cylinder race-derived bike for. If you've felt your RC pull harder everywhere except the top end, the restrictive stock can is usually the reason.

This MotoTorque system swaps in a mid-bend pipe and end can built from 304-grade stainless steel with aluminium accents, shedding real weight over the stock unit while opening up the note. Packing is USA-imported high-density silicon wool rated to 1600°C, so the tone stays consistent ride after ride instead of going tinny after a few thousand kilometres — and a bolt-in DB killer keeps things street-legal when you need it quiet.

Semi-full system, so it replaces from the mid-pipe back rather than requiring a full header swap — a more straightforward install and a lower price point than a complete system.

What it does:

• Sheds weight over the restrictive stock exhaust for a livelier feel
• Deeper, more resonant exhaust note with a removable DB killer for quiet running
• Heat-stable packing built to hold its tone over time, not just out of the box
