KAWASAKI KLX

The KLX's dual-sport stance puts the engine right where trail obstacles find it — a rock ledge or a low branch at a bad angle, and the cases take the hit first.

This crash guard wraps the engine and lower frame in tubular steel, spreading impact across multiple mounting points instead of concentrating it on the cases themselves.

Bolts to the factory frame mounting points, built for the KLX 230's trail-riding use rather than just showroom looks.

What it does:

• Keeps the engine cases off the ground in a tip-over or trail fall
• Spreads impact across multiple frame mounting points
• Direct bolt-on fit, no fabrication required

Key details

• Brand: MotoTorque
• Material: Tubular mild steel, powder-coated
• Fitment: Kawasaki KLX 230
• Mount type: Direct bolt-on to factory frame points

The KLX's stock tail leaves nowhere flat to strap a bag once you're loading up for a multi-day trail trip rather than a short local ride.

This carrier pairs a mild-steel subframe mount with an aluminium top plate, giving touring gear a stable, lightweight surface to sit on without adding excess rear weight.

Sized for the factory subframe mounting points, sitting close to the tail rather than perched high above it.

What it does:

• Gives touring luggage a flat, stable mounting surface
• Aluminium top plate keeps added weight down
• Direct bolt-on fit to the factory subframe points

Key details

• Brand: MotoTorque
• Material: Mild-steel carrier frame, aluminium top plate
• Fitment: Kawasaki KLX 230
• Mount type: Direct bolt-on to subframe

The KLX's engine sump sits low and exposed on the trail, and a hard hit on a rock ledge can crack the casing or dent it enough to affect oil flow — an expensive way to end a ride.

This v.2 sump guard is a formed aluminium plate that bolts beneath the engine, revised to integrate mounting points for an attached crash guard section for wider lower-body coverage in one unit.

Shaped to clear the exhaust header and factory mounting points for a snug, rattle-free fit.

What it does:

• Shields the engine sump from rocks, ruts, and trail debris
• Integrated crash guard mounting adds wider lower coverage
• Direct bolt-on fit to factory mounting points

Key details

• Brand: MotoTorque
• Material: Formed aluminium
• Fitment: Kawasaki KLX 230
• Mount type: Direct bolt-on under engine

Standing on the pegs off-road with the stock bar height means hunching forward — not ideal for control when the trail gets rough and you need your weight back and centred.

The Advento bar swaps in a slightly higher, wider profile that suits standing riding without feeling awkward when seated on tarmac between trail sections.

Uses the factory bar clamp and cabling, so there's no need for longer cables or lines in most cases.

What it does:

• Improves control and comfort while standing on the pegs off-road
• Works equally well seated on tarmac connector roads
• Direct swap using the stock triple clamp and switchgear

Key details

• Brand: MotoTorque
• Material: Steel tubing
• Fitment: Kawasaki KLX 230
• Mount type: Direct replacement for stock handlebar

The stock side stand foot is small enough to sink straight into trail mud or soft dirt, leaving the bike leaning at an angle you don't notice until you've let go of the bars.

This extender clamps over the factory stand foot to widen the contact patch, spreading the bike's weight over more surface so it holds its footing off-road.

Slips over the existing stand foot — no modification to the side stand itself.

What it does:

• Widens the side stand's footprint on mud, sand, and soft ground
• Reduces the chance of the stand sinking and the bike tipping
• Clamps over the factory stand foot — no permanent modification

Key details

• Brand: MotoTorque
• Material: Mild steel
• Fitment: Kawasaki KLX 230

Mud, roots, and trail debris thrown up by the rear wheel go straight at the chain and sprocket on an unguarded KLX — accelerating wear and occasionally catching on something at the worst moment.

This guard is a formed aluminium shield that covers the upper chain run, keeping debris off the chain and reducing the mess that ends up flung onto the swingarm and rear shock.

Bolts to the factory swingarm mounting points without interfering with chain adjustment.

What it does:

• Shields the chain from mud, roots, and trail debris
• Reduces debris thrown onto the swingarm and shock
• Direct bolt-on fit, chain adjustment unaffected

Key details

• Brand: MotoTorque
• Material: Formed aluminium
• Fitment: Kawasaki KLX 230
• Mount type: Direct bolt-on to swingarm

The KLX's exhaust runs close to the rider's leg, and after a while in slow trail sections or stop-and-go traffic that heat becomes impossible to ignore, especially in riding pants.

This shield is a perforated metal cover that clamps over the exposed exhaust section, adding a layer between the hot pipe and your leg without altering exhaust flow.

Clamps directly onto the existing pipe — no welding or exhaust modification.

What it does:

• Reduces heat transfer from the exhaust to the rider's leg
• Clamps onto the stock pipe — no exhaust modification
• Doesn't restrict exhaust flow or affect performance

Key details

• Brand: MotoTorque
• Material: Perforated mild steel
• Fitment: Kawasaki KLX 230
• Mount type: Clamp-on over exhaust pipe

The rear brake fluid reservoir sits exposed near the footpeg, right where a tip-over or a stray rock strike on the trail can crack the plastic housing — and a cracked reservoir means a fluid leak, not just a scuff.

This guard is a machined aluminium bracket that wraps around the reservoir body, taking the impact so the plastic housing doesn't have to.

Clamps on around the existing reservoir without interfering with the brake lines.

What it does:

• Shields the rear brake fluid reservoir from impacts and falls
• Clamps around the existing housing — no lines disturbed
• Reduces the risk of a cracked reservoir and fluid leak

Key details

• Brand: MotoTorque
• Material: Machined aluminium
• Fitment: Kawasaki KLX 230
• Mount type: Clamp-on around reservoir

The front brake caliper sits low and forward, right in the line of fire for trail rocks and kerb strikes — and a damaged caliper isn't a cosmetic problem, it's a braking one.

This guard is a machined aluminium bracket that mounts over the caliper body, taking the hit from debris and minor impacts without interfering with pad clearance or disc rotation.

Bolts to the existing caliper mounting hardware, no modification to the brake assembly itself.

What it does:

• Shields the front brake caliper from rocks and kerb strikes
• Mounts clear of the disc and pads — no braking interference
• Direct bolt-on fit using factory caliper hardware

Key details

• Brand: MotoTorque
• Material: Machined aluminium
• Fitment: Kawasaki KLX 230
• Mount type: Direct bolt-on to caliper mount

Soft panniers strapped straight to the KLX's subframe rub through the paint or brush against the exhaust before long — a problem a proper stay removes entirely.

The Xtruder stay is a welded steel bracket that bolts to the existing subframe mounts, holding bags clear of the wheel, exhaust, and rear shock once they're loaded and moving with the suspension.

Built for the KLX's subframe geometry, lining up with the factory mounting points without extra brackets.

What it does:

• Keeps saddle bags clear of the rear wheel, exhaust heat, and shock
• Protects subframe paint and bodywork from strap wear
• Bolts to factory mounting points, no drilling

Key details

• Brand: LEGUNDARY
• Material: Welded mild steel
• Fitment: Kawasaki KLX 230 (India-spec CKD)

A slip-on only swaps the can at the back. A full system replaces the whole exhaust path, from the header at the cylinder head to the silencer at the tail. That's the upgrade for KLX 230 owners who want the bike to breathe properly, not just sound different.

Norifumi builds this system in stainless steel for the Indian-market KLX 230. It's made for the kind of riding the bike does here: weekday commutes, weekend trail loops and long touring days on mixed roads. Stainless steel holds up to heat cycling, monsoon water and road grime better than painted mild steel, so it keeps its finish and fit for years.

• Type: Full system (header to silencer)
• Material: Stainless steel
• Fitment: Kawasaki KLX 230, Indian version
• Use: Daily riding, adventure and touring

The fitment is specific to the Indian-market KLX 230. If your bike is imported or a different model year, get in touch before ordering.
