This cylindrical filter uses BMC's layered oiled-cotton gauze construction, backed by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh, to move more air through than the stock paper element while filtering down to a finer 7 microns against the OEM filter's roughly 10. It's shaped specifically for the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X airbox introduced in 2024 — not adapted from another platform, built for this one.

Single-mould construction means no welded seams to fatigue over time, and the rubber edge seals tightly against the stock airbox for a proper airtight fit — a straight swap for the paper filter, with no cutting or tuning changes needed.
