BMC Air Filter Finder: Which BMC Filter Fits Your Bike
A BMC air filter replaces your bike's stock paper filter with oiled cotton gauze. The gauze lets more air reach the engine while still filtering out particles down to about 7 microns, finer than the roughly 10 microns a typical stock paper filter manages. It is washable and reusable, so you clean it instead of buying a new filter at every service.

What changes after fitting
More air reaching the engine means cleaner combustion, and the throttle can feel a little more awake. The bigger day-to-day benefit is that the filter lasts: you wash it and refit it instead of throwing it away.
