A low-speed drop or a slide in the gravel can bend a fork leg or crack the lower triple clamp, repairs that are far more expensive and time-consuming than the tip-over itself.

These fork sliders bolt onto the front axle area of the Himalayan 450 or Guerrilla 450, sitting proud of the fork legs so that in a fall, the slider makes contact with the ground first. Built to absorb and redirect impact, they're shaped to sit flush against the fork without interfering with the front wheel, fender, or brake caliper.

They won't stop a crash from happening, but they give the fork a fighting chance of walking away from one unscathed.
